If the TV show you will participate in is a one-time activity, it will be sufficient to notify only. You can participate in the TV show during your tourist visa period. However, If you are planning a TV show for a longer period, exceeding the duration of your tourist visa, then you must first obtain a residence permit for a certain period (normally for one year) and then apply for a work permit. It would not be wrong to say that Turkish authorities are not very eager to give permits in this context nowadays. If the TV show you will take part in is a show that requires permission (longer than your visa permit period), we recommend that you apply for work permit through companies that do this job professionally.
