Validity of divorce registered in Guam
My girlfriend in the Philippines wanted to file a divorce from her ex husband not living for more than 13 years. She planned to file a divorce in Guam because Philippines has no divorce law instead they have annulment which takes 2-5 years. Filing divorce in Guam is valid in the US ? Is this correct? If not is there any other options? Thanks

If she is already a foreign citizen (US citizen) then she can file a divorce in Guam. If not, even she filed a divorce anywhere else, the divorce can not be recognize in the Philippines.
