Using Google Maps images in public presentation
The IP statement supplied by Google Maps outlining permissible use of images of their maps provides that "non-commercial use" of data in internal reports, presentations, etc. is permitted. However, despite the fact that Google has informed me to move forward with my project as long as I follow the guidelines, the company refuses to provide me explicit permission due to "limited resources and high demand"; and my company would not permit me to use the images without some specific reference demonstrating their permission. I would be grateful for any help in the reading of their permissions to bring light on this."
