Tax implications in Germany
I will be working remotely for a German employer soon as a consultant. Currently I am employed with the same employer in Germany and hold a permanent residence in Germany. Will I be liable to pay taxes in Germany if I continue to hold my PR in Germany and live in a different country?

Tax liability can be complex and depends on various factors, including your specific circumstances and the tax laws in both Germany and your new country of residence. Generally, if you maintain permanent residence in Germany, you may still be considered a tax resident there and subject to German taxes on your worldwide income. However, tax treaties between countries can impact your tax liability.
