I am looking for any cases in Canada that were heard before a court or tribunal, or even if there was any informal dispute that was discussed in any media regarding Suing the government for not delivering the passport in a reasonable amount of time, resulting in missing flights and losing money due only to the negligence of some civil servant in a passport office who lost the paper work or lacked diligence.
