Real estate in Goa, India
Hello dear friends, I have a question. It would be my pleasure if you can help me. As a personal preference, I would like to buy a residential property in Goa, India. But I am afraid of some things. First of all, I don't know whether I can become a permanent resident of India after purchasing the property. Then, I wonder if I can enjoy any tax discount, while I am paying high rate tax in my own residence and don't want to increase my pain. Ad my last question is about the time I am not using my home in Goa. Is this legal in Goa to rent it via Airbnb remotely? Your helpful answers are kindly appreciated

The Citizenship of India is essential to buy any Land Property in India. All Foreign Nationals are staying in Long Lease House Properties in Goa. Visa restrictions for Stay in India will be applicable to all Foreign nationals equally to stay in India legally. Hence you may take any Land Property for Lease for a limited period.

One needs to understand your status now as per the Foreign Exchange Management Act and Rules. Are you a foreign citizen of non -Indian origin and of which country are you a citizen. The Rules differ depending on your status and which country you are a citizen of. I regularly advise on Foreign exchange laws and happy to advise you in detail.
