I’m curious about Canadian laws regarding the use of copyrighted book content or characters for a not-for-profit purpose.
My situation: I’m working on an online video game in which many of the characters are from various famous books or myths and I will not profit from it whatsoever. Would It be possible that I get into legal trouble for doing so?
