I am about to apply for naturalisation after 5 years of stay in the UK (and one year after being granted ILR). Can I apply 28 days in advance or I shall stay exactly till 12 months from the date when ILR has been granted? Moreover, as there is a lapse between the date of application submission and the date when the biometric has been collected, what date is the qualifying day? The day of application submission or the date the biometric has been collected and the application has been handed to UKVI?
