Like a Dickensian plot
I was adopted at birth and traced my birth mother 15 years ago. We have since had a long distance relationship and have both stayed with each other. She is dying and my half sister ( born a year after me; by that time my birth mother had married) is denying me access to say goodbye to my mum. My half sister hates me and only told me mum was dying because in desperation I sent letters to mum’s neighbours to find out what the situation was, and these were given to her. So, do I have any rights to see mum and any rights to inherit, assuming I have been left anything in her will? No one in her family knows I exist, it has been a dark secret for fifty years. I have a birth certificate to back up what I have told you. Many thanks Susi Piotrowski
