The family have signed a rental contract from 1st of December, 2020 for an indefinite period of time and as a shared apartment. The owner does not live in the house himself, but has some furniture there. Based on the family's understanding, it is perfectly legal to sign such a contract.
The notice from the owner’s side is up to two months.
The owner now claims that the building association is forcing them to sell the apartment otherwise Bayleef (Kronofogden) gets involved. Therefore, the owner is forcing the family to move out immediately.
The family expect a baby to be born in May 2021 and they cannot move out right now.
Therefore, their main concern is that whether there is any legal basis that forces them to move out. Also, what are their rights and obligations?
