Is there a classification of the reason in law? For instance, I can do a thing in order to obtain benefit from it. I can also take action to harm someone. This page discusses three types of reasons:
Normative;
Motivating;
Explanatory.
I was wondering if this is applicable to law.
What are the ways of proving/disproving a taken action with reasoning?
