Is a customer responsible for invalid transactions?
I was accused of utilising a fraudulent credit card to pay for a parking permit. I used it at the machine to pay, not noticing the little mark on the machine that states the machine does not take debit cards. Does the fact that I received the permit and receipt from the machine protect me from this charge?
