Hello, good day. I have a question regarding inheritance.
- My mother is the second wife of my late father (the first one died). I have a half-brother through my father's first marriage. My father has been dead for 17 years, and we have little to no contact with my half-brother who lives in another city (my father's hometown). I live with my mother and sister, and we're not really close with my half-brother and his side of the family. He lives his own life as we do ours. Now my question is, in the event of my mother's death, will my half-brother be part of the inheritance? Even though he is not related to my mother by blood? Since father's passing, my mother has acquired assets of her own, but there's one land which she purchased with my father. Thank you for answers.
