human rights grounds for immigration
I am a retired 69 years old British citizen since 1984 of Iranian origin. My partner a Phd Microbiologist lives in Iran. Her fiance visa was refused last December as my state pension was not enough. Ever since I have been desperately looking for a job as a driver, store cashier, cleaner and many other roles but my age works against me. Since it's not safe for me to go and marry her in Iran, we need to marry in a 3rd country. Since I cannot find any job to meet the 18,600 pa income, how else can my fiance and I live together in the UK. Are there any human rights grounds in my favour? Or am I condemned to live like this. Much obliged for any advice
