I am a freelancer who set up a Google Ads campaign in the wrong way.
This led to my client being sued over this campaign by a competitor. Particularly, over the use of the competitor's name in the ad copy.
This dispute is now resolved but my client demands compensation for the money he spent on a lawyer.
We worked without a contract with my client over a year-long period.
What should I do in that situation?
Can he sue me if I refuse to compensate?
