"Generally, yes. They are binding. In most cases, the contract terms bind the employers and employees. The terms usually include the employee's job duties, salary, and benefits.
You should notice there are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, an employer may be unable to terminate an employee if the termination would violate state or federal law. Additionally, a contract might be considered unenforceable if it's determined that it was signed under duress or if one of the parties involved did not have proper legal representation when the contract was drawn up."
