Does failing to disclose the rate of mileage compensation violate DCAA compliance or any other labor regualtions?
I work in an American company that does federal contracting which compensates employees a fixed rate based on how many miles they drive per day. They have an online portal in which their drivers enter how many miles they have driven and show them how much money they will be compensated for those miles at the end of the month. The owner of the company sometimes changes the amount per mile and has asked me to remove anything from the portal that informs the staff exactly how much their mileage will be compensated. Does this violate DCAA compliance or any other labor laws?
