I am considering moving to Canada to work, in order to save money and then move back to Portugal for retirement because of the lower cost of living. I will contribute to the Canada Pension Plan and also save for my retirement. I have to calculate how much I want to save to get a fixed retirement salary. However, I’m not sure if I'll have to pay taxes over the money I saved on a normal Canadian bank account.
