Contract remediation in the franchise
I am a franchisor in India and the COVID pandemic stopped the franchisee from performing the contract. Can I have contract remediation?

Depends on going through your previous contract, if your previous contract had a clause in relation to this or force majeure clause.

Any agreement entered during natural calamities, Pandemics will be covered by special statute and hence all such agreements will become inactive and inoperative when there will be no further notifications from Government to extend the applicability of special provisions for those businesses continuation (Specific Period)
