Child custody order
I have a client who is a US green card holder and currently lives in the US. She and her husband are going to receive a child custody order from a US court. She wants to be sure that her rights in the order be recognized in Iran as well. What legal solutions might she have?

It depends on the merits of the order. As family law is highly sensitive for societies, each state take a unique approach to the similar fact. This is evolved when move from one country with liberal values to the other with sharia rules. It is natural that Iranian courts basically look in the merits to realize if the case is consistent with public policy of Iran. If not, they won’t recognize the order of the US court.
