Family Law of the PH still applies with respect to their status as husband and wife. However, blackmailing is another matter/action which does not prohibit the husband from filing appropriate cases to his wife. Should there is proof that the blackmailing act really took place, wife could be held liable for either coercion or threats. Since they are not ywt annulled then in the eyes of law they are still married.
