About me

Valbona Gjoncari is the Managing Partner of SettingLaw firm, which operates in jurisdiction of Albania. Ms. Gjoncari`s has extensive expertise in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, privatization, concession, energy, capital market, IP law, expatriation issues, real estate projects, litigation and dispute resolution. Mr. Gjoncari acts as representative of international clients in front of Albanian courts of all levels, in cases related mainly to, employment, corporate issues, real estate, taxation, IP matters and all sorts of other civil and administrative disputes. Thanks to her solid experience she acts regularly as legal advisor to international clients regarding law issues and agreements and managed legal consultancy in various legal matters and investment projects. Her assistance also covers preparation and/or revision of all kind of agreements, lawsuits, appeals, requests, authorizations, objections, reports, questionnaires and any other legal documents. Mr. Gjoncari graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana in Albania (2002). She is a member of Albanian Bar Association (2004) and International Bar Association (2021). She is ranked as a Rising Star in international reputable guide The Legal 500.
