As a senior legal expert who has studied in reputable law schools of Iran, namely Tehran and Shahid Beheshti universities, Neda Hakimi has been practicing law for nearly a decade. She has attained the position of a legal counselor who cooperates with commercial decision makers such as private banks and advises many well known engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms across the country. So, she has closely witnessed many details and changes of policy making in the field of banking and corporate law during these years in Iran's legal system. In this respect, she has extensive experience in establishing and developing contractual terms. Furthermore, as a legal adviser, she also provides advice on legal aspects of contractual enforcement for commercial firms with respect to the US sanctions regime. She is also experienced in negotiating, drafting and finalizing contracts, especially in construction, finance, oil & gas, EPC projects, sales and purchase commercial contracts, and the power industry. Besides, as a qualified lawyer with a professional experience of 10 years and practice at the Bar, she handles legal cases and undertakes a wide range of civil and constitutional litigations related to banking (LC, guarantees, and mortgage) and contracts, as well as commercial and corporate law. She has also been part of intellectual property cases in Iranian courts (either commencing legal action or defending a case).
