Dr. Murat Can Pehlivanoğlu advises and represents individuals and multinational organizations, especially in cross- border partnership and foreign direct investment matters. Dr. Pehlivanoğlu teaches a variety of different courses at universities in Turkey, such as American Law, European Union Law, Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law. He is an author and public speaker on subjects concerning contemporary legal debates, including shareholder oppression, equity crowdfunding, unfair competition, copyright recapture and consumer aggrievements. He has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) by San Francisco Golden Gate University School of Law (California, U.S.A.). Dr. Pehlivanoğlu worked as a researcher at Düsseldorf Heinrich Heine University Faculty of Law (Germany) and City University of Hong Kong School of Law (Hong Kong, China). He studied law at İstanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law (İstanbul, Turkey) and completed his transnational legal education through courses he took at University of San Francisco School of Law (California, U.S.A.) and London School of Economics and Political Science (London, UK).
