I am a purpose-driven and proactive Legal practitioner passionate about Corporate - Commercial Law, Not-for-Profit Organizations law and dispute resolution. I am an enthusiastic problem-solver who can rapidly assess diverse situational challenges, develop action plans, and communicate clearly with the people involved. I have successfully handled the following roles; negotiating, drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts and pleadings, carrying out legal research, giving legal opinions, institution of legal entities and securing their regulatory compliance, and legal projects management. Moreover, I have undertaken training and acquired skills in Leadership and Project Management, which equipped me with interpersonal skills, people management skills and strategic planning abilities to achieve professional targets. I have also trained in alternative dispute resolution with an eminent international firm, Addleshaw Goddard, during which I acquired working knowledge in Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration processes at international scale. I offer legal consultancy and advisor services to businesses and not for profit operations in Kenya, Somalia and the larger East Africa. I have a sharp eye for potential opportunities and issues in commercial engagements, and I am able to offer creatively thought-out solutions to address legal challenges. I also have the skills to manage projects successfully from initiation, to planning, execution, monitoring & control and completion.
