He assists business transactions related to the 4 modes of international trade_cross border, consumption abroad, FDI and international professionals. In addition, Mr. Dennis has resided in Southwestern, Southern and Northern China for nearly a decade employed as a business consultant and foreign attorney and as a result he is able to speak Mandarin professionally. Currently, his legal practice is based out of Washington, DC. For the past decade, Mr. Dennis has worked with an array of businesses transnationally: (1) securing and enforcing international intellectual property rights for stakeholders in the United States and mainland China, (2) negotiating, drafting and enforcing international sale of goods and service agreements, (3) representing forgien investors in the USA and China in FDI transactions, (4) providing visa services for professionals, families and international medical patients, (5) serving as an attorney in international arbitration and mediation proceedings and serving on the panel of mediators at the Thailand Arbitration Center. Mr. Dennis has counseled Chinese businesses, WFOEs, JVs and foreign workers on contracting and multi jurisdictional disputes in China. He assisted in drafting the master agreement between sellers and Hainan Duty Free Shop, the flagship duty free shop on Hainan island located in Haikou Meilan Airport. While working for law firms in Beijing, Mr. Dennis served on the Chinese IP anti counterfeiting representation teams for distinguished foreign brands in China, such as Shake Shack and Volvo.
