Can insurance agents be part of an inquest about death?

An individual passed aways when her boat sank two years ago. The death was ruled a misadventure at the time and the boat insurer and life insurer paid. Now the boat has been found and another inquest is conducted. The boat insurer and life insurer individually have the sunk boat examined and detect potential foul play. Can they intend to speak at the inquest and present their evidence and try to get the jury to rule the death a murder so that they could potentially get their money back?

Copyright Fair Use Case

I'm trying to understand the concept of Copyright and trademark Fair Use. I'm a game developer working on a project which plays in the imaginary world of children. They adventure through a world created by them. My concern is that the majority of their playing is based on Copyrighted content. Am I required to obtain licensing when I create a level that is loosely directed to Star Wars for example? Where to play as Storm Troopers covered in unicorn stickers? Or where they dress up as Batman and Robin with a pink cape for the next level? Just to be clear, the game isn't directed towards one certain character or copyright case, but it has reference to several, as well as own created characters, which are the main stars. It will not contain any direct reference to logos or titles. Just a loose reference to the looks of the characters. Would it require licensing or would this fall within the concept of Fair Use?

Can landlords exclude fee structure on a lease?

An apartment complex has refused to provide me details on how much it will cost to do lease reassignment, arguing that they've never done it before at this very complex, and thus, they'll only know how much they'll be charging for it once someone requests it. Is something like this legal? Can a corporate landlord withhold such information, and only provide it once an actual need arises?

Charging for the spent time prior to the adoption of an agreement

Following a three-hour meeting with an attorney for a case, an agreement is signed and a retainer fee is paid. Later, we agreed to terminate the contract. He suggested payment for time which seems reasonable. Then I get a bill that includes time for two one-minute voicemails (rounded up to 6 minutes each, of course), a half-hour for email exchange, the phone call, and preparation for the 3-hour meeting before the adoption of the agreement. Is it possible to charge your client for the spent time prior to the adoption of an agreement?
