Moving to a different area of law
Dear All I've recently qualified as an Immigration and Human Rights Solicitor as my TC seats were on no-choice basis. Ideally I would like to work in more commercial area of law, related to pharmacology or life sciences as I have background in Medicine and Natural Sciences. Does anyone have an advice on what is the best way to move to an unrelated area of law with no first hand experience. I appreciate your responses. Thank you

The only thing I would say is a bit of simple suggestion to follow up your dreams and never let any barrier break the chain of your dreams. I think it is vitally important that you have a relative background in medicine and it obviously is constructive for your future to find a spot between law and medicine. Good Luck
