Can i work remotely or freelance with US or EU Im from Iran
I'm from Iran, Iranian banks have been sanctioned, the only simple way to receive income is to use cryptocurrency. 1. Are US or EU citizens or companies allowed to employ a person from Iran? (Non-part-time, non-full-time, just one time projects) 2. Are US or EU citizens or companies allowed to pay with Cryptocurrency or they must transfer from a bank account? 3. If the answer to the above questions is no, how can I work? 4. In order to have work experience, can I serve for free? Are US or EU citizens and companies allowed to receive free services from an Iranian? 5. If I can work, do I have to pay taxes? Can the person who employed me pay the tax instead of me?

I'm sorry to hear that Iranian banks have been sanctioned and that you're facing challenges in receiving income. Here are the answers to your questions: The employment of individuals from Iran by US or EU citizens or companies is subject to various sanctions laws and regulations, which may prohibit or restrict such employment. You should consult with a legal expert in the specific country where you are seeking work to determine whether such employment is possible and what restrictions may apply. There are no specific sanctions that prohibit the use of cryptocurrency for payments. However, the use of cryptocurrency is subject to various laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws. US or EU citizens or companies must comply with these laws and regulations when using cryptocurrency for payments. If the answers to the above questions are no, you may want to consider working with companies or individuals outside of the US or EU who are not subject to the same sanctions. Alternatively, you may consider working in industries that are not subject to sanctions, or pursuing self-employment opportunities. While it's possible to offer your services for free, US or EU citizens or companies are generally not allowed to receive free services from individuals in sanctioned countries. This is because providing free services could be seen as a way to circumvent sanctions restrictions. It's important to consult with a legal expert to understand the specific sanctions laws and regulations that apply to your situation. If you are able to work and receive payment, you may be subject to taxes in your home country. Depending on the laws and regulations of your home country, you may be required to pay taxes on income earned from foreign sources. It's important to consult with a tax expert in your home country to understand your tax obligations. US or EU citizens or companies are generally not responsible for paying taxes on behalf of non-US or non-EU individuals.
